Sheridan Nuss, Synchronised Movement
About your teacher: Sheridan Nuss
Sheridan Nuss is your Pilates and Yoga teacher at Synchronised Movement. Sheri began her movement training with Pilates after leaving the corporate worlds of London and Sydney following her husband being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Always an advocate of good health, wellbeing and mindful movement, Sheri transitioned her career and now enjoys working with a variety of clientele to help them achieve synchronised movement in their daily life.
Compassionate and professional, Sheri will ease you into a class or session so you feel comfortable about progressively developing your movement, strength, balance, postural alignment and flexibility – or whatever your personal goals may be. Sheri is experienced at working with all kinds of health conditions or physical issues, including age and fitness level, and is passionate about helping people with their health and wellness journey. Sheri keeps up to date on research with continuing education and professional development, is an accredited Pilates instructor and Yoga teacher, and maintains her professional memberships accordingly.
Certificate IV in Pilates Matwork Instruction (Polestar); Diploma of Professional Pilates (Polestar); Certificate III in Fitness – Physiology and Anatomy (FIA); Certificate IV in Fitness – Personal Training (TAFE); Certificate in Nutrition (Nature Care College); Myofascial Release (Body Core Therapy); Diploma of Yoga Teacher Training (Qi Yoga); Reiki Level 1 and 2 (Joan Miller).

Sheri is a wonderfully clear and comprehensive instructor. I have been taking her classes for a few years and absolutely love them. I am an active person and generally keep myself very busy with very little down time, so regular classes with Sheri make me slow down, really focus and work on specific areas of my body while still providing a challenge and bringing everything back into balance. A class with Sheri is one of the highlights of my week. It is a calming time for my body and mind. Sheri’s chooses a wide range of exercises and creatively differentiates the format for each session.
